We’re Steven and Danica!

Do you ever look around your house and say things like:

“Our dining room table is too small.”

“This corner of our living room is so awkward. I wish we could do something here.”

“I wish these shelves were twice as long.”

“Wouldn’t it be awesome to have a coffee table with coffee beans on top, covered with epoxy?”

SO DO WE! (Yes, we really did build a coffee table made with coffee beans). When we became first time homeowners back in 2008, no big box store sold exactly what we needed, and we didn’t know anyone who could build these kinds of things for us. So, we decided to DIY it. Some of those early projects were not pretty, but they were functional and fit our life perfectly! More than that, those early projects made us realize we love designing, decorating, problem solving and building. Now, we want to do that for you! Don’t worry, we like to think our quality has caught up to our ambition after 15 years of doing this.

Above all this, we love people. Growing up in a small town in Indiana, we saw the beauty of a tight-knit community. We are high school sweethearts for crying out loud! It doesn’t get tighter knit than that! Over our 20 years of marriage, we’ve lived coast-to-coast in this great country (thanks to our time in the Marine Corps). Everywhere we’ve lived, we’ve made community involvement a priority. It’s no different here in Las Vegas. We love our city, and we want to get to know you! What better way to facilitate an introduction than through woodworking!
